Poipu Elope Kauai wedding videographer

The story of Janice & Virgil … a Kauai wedding video by David Ian Fraser… AKA me, Difraser.

Janice and Virgil arrived in Kauai 3 days before their wedding, and immediately went hunting for the perfect beach for their ceremony.  As they were staying in Poipu, they really wanted to do the ceremony close by, but decided against the heavily trafficked Shipwrecks Beach, even though it’s a paradiscal wedding spot. What they found was basically under their nose, a tiny, tucked away beach in the heart of Poipu, so tiny it’s easy to overlook.  They asked me if I knew anyone with a canopy. I did, but on that day it was booked.  On their behalf, I spoke to my friend who’s a brilliant carpenter; in fact he’s famous on Kauai for building the sets for the theatrical productions performed by the Hawaii Children’s Theater company. So he says to me, “sure... lets do something special for Janice and Virgil.  The canopy he made was perfect. The weather was awesome. The setting was idyllic.  The rings were magic, and the wedding was a realized fairytale.  I was lucky to be part of it.  Yes, I’m lucky to do what I love, wedding videography in paradise central.  This one’s done, in the books, so now can we talk about me being your Kauai wedding videographer.
